This was definitely a three-set show, although a setlist for the third set is not known. Apparently, the lone taper’s ride home from the show had to leave early! Wild Child was played for the first time since September 27, 1985 (149 shows).

DemandOpener The band was absolutely on fire for this show! If you like Phish playing basically everything perfectly but safely, this show is for you. It's a very Trey-esque show with lots of shredding.

That said, the Slave soars, and there's a bunch of worthy listens in here, including several covers: Wild Child, Bold as Love, and Whipping Post among them. 4 stars.

thelot The recording on this one is phenomenal. It’s a shame the taper had to leave before set 3! However, the sets that circulate are standard fair for 1988. Apparently tGD were playing in Philadelphia. It’s a good possibility this had an impact on attendance at The Front for these three nights. These performances were certainly lacking tapers! Wild Child was a welcome treat! Bag had the introduction. DEG seems to have found a home in Cities since Telluride! They go together like PB&J! On Your Way Down > Whipping Post closed out set 2 nicely.
